A New Ministry Adventure

After much consideration and prayer, I have officially joined the team at Interim Ministry Partners.

In this role, I will serve congregations who are searching for a preacher by providing a consistent pulpit presence during the interim season, working with the church’s leadership to ensure congregational health and effectiveness, and guiding the congregation through the minister search process. For more details about how IMP helps churches, go here.

I am extremely excited about and honored by this opportunity.

This will be a part-time job – and if you’re keeping count, that’s now 6 jobs that I have! But each of these jobs is aligned to the same purpose. Let me explain…

My personal mission statement is to “make Jesus known through coaching, training, and preaching.” This is what drives me, and it is what has driven me to the roles I am honored to have:

  1. As the Leadership Trainer & Workplace Coach for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, I share the light, love, and leadership wisdom of Jesus to the outstanding men and women who serve the most vulnerable citizens of Oklahoma.
  2. As a True Dads Educator, I teach parenting workshops that equip fathers with the type of skills that produce better outcomes for children.
  3. As a Certified Trainer for Strata Leadership, I am invited into corporate spaces to help leaders create organizational cultures that bring out the best in others.
  4. As the owner of Tugman Coaching & Consulting, LLC, I have partnered with executive leaders of Gulfport Energy, Boeing, Garver, Children’s Hospital, Scissortail Roofing, and others to align their behaviors with their values.
  5. As a speaker for C-Suite for Christ, I get the opportunity to encourage the top executives of impactful companies across the nation to be disciple-makers in the marketplace.
  6. And, now, through Interim Ministry Partners, I am grateful to be an encourager and equipper of churches and church leaders.

Different roles but the same purpose in each context: “Make Jesus Known”

Yes, I like to work – especially when that work is meaningful.

But that’s what Christ does.

He infuses every day, every moment, and every job with meaning and purpose, because every day, every moment, and every job is an opportunity and platform to glorify God, walk in step with the Spirit, and make Jesus known to others.

In what ways are you being an ambassador for Christ in this world?

our plates are also very full with over 60 in our international group now. God had given us a gentleman who had worked converting Muslins for 12 years now. Also a new gentleman who moved to Norman with ISI and has joined forces with us. Our new house will be finished in mid November to hold more of these students.
