A Prepared Partner.

I am a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Team Coach and Certified Change Leadership Coach through the prestigious Center for Executive Coaching.

I hold two master’s degrees and multiple certifications covering such topics as organizational leadership, systems theory, conflict resolution and mediation, counseling, communication, project management, personality development, and leader-employee relationships.

An Experienced Leader.

With over 30 years experience on the frontlines of leadership, I’ve been where you are and I know the challenges of leading people and systems. I have a long list of accomplishments and an even longer list of mistakes. Through it all, I have created a track record of serving others with integrity, empathy, and wisdom and gained a reputation for helping leaders and teams maximize their potential.

  • They Brought a High-Chair

This past Friday afternoon I had the great privilege and honor of baptizing a person into Christ.  She has been visiting our congregation for several weeks and had grown in her understanding of the Gospel of Christ so much that she was ready to make the decision to surrender her life to Him. It was…

  • She Hung Up On Me

The other day a woman called our church office needing to talk to someone. When I got on the phone and introduced myself, she asked if I was the leader of our Celebrate Recovery ministry.  I said, “No, but I might be able to help you.” And she opened up and started to share her…

  • My Heart is Heavy

This week the state of New York enacted a new law that allows for full-term abortions. And my heart is heavy. I have never understood the rationale for the normalization of abortion or the desire of our culture to celebrate abortion. Maybe that’s because I am the father of an adopted child who thanks God…

And this happens on all sides.…

  • Racism is Heresy

Today, our country remembers and honors the inspirational and aspirational fight against racism waged by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  As part of that remembrance, I want to pass along some thoughts about the role of the church in the fight against racism written by New Testament scholar Dr. Richard Hays in his important book…
