Yesterday at Alameda Church of Christ we enjoyed a powerful worship experience that served to remind us of what a blessing it is to be able to gather together and worship God with a church family.

We talked about how worship provides a mechanism for us to…

1. Rejoice together in what God has done for us.
2. Remember the story of God and how that story defines us.
3. Restore our brokenness.

We also recalled how the songs we sing provide for us a way to experience the three benefits of worship mentioned above.  One of the songs we sang was “In Christ Alone.”  As you get your week started, take a few minutes to listen to this song, meditate on the lyrics, and be reminded that your hope in this life is found in Christ alone.
