Don’t Give Up

I know you’re frustrated.

I am too.

It seems that evil is winning.

It feels like our leaders are failing us.

It looks as if people are unwilling to talk to one another to build common ground.

Or work with one another to solve problems.

And it’s frustrating.

More than that, it’s emotionally deflating.

“Is there any hope that things will get better?,” we ask ourselves.

And we don’t know.

But we do know that we can’t give up.

We can’t stop working for a better society.

We can’t stop fighting the good fight of faith.

We can’t stop advancing God’s Kingdom values.

There’s too much at stake.

So, take a deep breath.

Pray for God’s presence and power.

And remember the words of Galatians 6:9-10…

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Keep doing good to all people.

And don’t give up.
