This past week, my daughter climbed over 10,000 feet to the top of Hermit’s Peak in New Mexico with her cohort group at Camp Blue Haven.
This is a difficult hike, and she was very nervous about doing it.
But she has always wanted to make that climb ever since she started going to CBH.
So she set her mind to making it to the top.
And she did.

In the process, she learned that she can do hard things.
That she can push herself.
That she can go further than she thinks she can.
That she can accomplish her goals.
That she has grit.
We learn a lot about ourselves and increase our self-confidence when we do hard things and push ourselves to do things that make us nervous.
So, what hard thing can you do this week to develop your grit?
