Can you believe that it’s December, already?!
Well, it is.
And that means that a new year is right around the corner, so why not start thinking about the goals you want to achieve next year?
Or the changes you want to make in your habits or lifestyle?
How about ways that you can walk closer with God?
For some of us, it’s been a rough couple of years.
I get it.
And, because of that, you might have given up on new resolutions.
So, here’s a passage of Scripture that might be motivating to you…
Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.
Isaiah 43:18-19, The Message
God specializes in “brand new.”
He makes a way where there seemed to be no way.
So, what do you want God to make new in your life?
Start by being alert and present to God.
Spend time in God’s Word and in worship to God.
Pray, and pour out to Him the requests and desires of your heart.
Be still and listen for His Spirit to bring you clarity about what you need to change and how you can make that change.
Then, faithfully, confidently, and boldly act on what He has shown you.
God will make you new!
