Our current sermon series at Alameda is called “The Comeback,” and yesterday we learned that the secret to the kind of comeback we are most desperate for is to align our will and ways with God’s will and ways.
Two questions that will help us do that, no matter what situation we find ourselves in, are these…
- What does it look like to follow God in this circumstance?
- How can I be a blessing to others today?
These questions keep us focused on staying faithful to God and push us to look outside of ourselves, which shifts and broadens our perspective of our circumstances, helping us to see our challenges from a much more positive point of view.
Your comeback – whether that’s a spiritual, relational, financial, or physical comeback – will gain momentum and be more impactful if you will seek to be a blessing to others as a demonstration of your faithfulness to God.
These two questions will help.
They will also help you have a meaningful week, starting today.
