A Prepared Partner.

I am a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Team Coach and Certified Change Leadership Coach through the prestigious Center for Executive Coaching.

I hold two master’s degrees and multiple certifications covering such topics as organizational leadership, systems theory, conflict resolution and mediation, counseling, communication, project management, personality development, and leader-employee relationships.

An Experienced Leader.

With over 30 years experience on the frontlines of leadership, I’ve been where you are and I know the challenges of leading people and systems. I have a long list of accomplishments and an even longer list of mistakes. Through it all, I have created a track record of serving others with integrity, empathy, and wisdom and gained a reputation for helping leaders and teams maximize their potential.

  • That’s Not Your Seat

I recently observed a leader, who is high on the org chart of their organization, enter a room filled with their employees, walk up to a table where another person had placed their stuff, move that person’s stuff, and take the other person’s seat. It was a shocking display of entitlement, disregard, and disrespect. But…

  • You Are Chosen

This week I am speaking and teaching at one of my favorite places, Camp Blue Haven, in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Having the opportunity to invest in the lives of young people is such a privilege – and I don’t take it for granted. Our focus for the week is on the New…

  • Reset

Have you ever found yourself in need of a “reset”? Sometimes we are in need of a reframe – where we challenge the meaning we’ve assigned to certain events in our lives and reinterpret our circumstances. Sometimes we are in need of a re-do – where we return to a relationship, an event, a point…

  • Take the Next Step

“Take the next step. Don’t just look awake; come alive to who God has made you to be. Practice walking around fully awake to yourself. Take notes, sing songs, laugh a lot, smell the flowers, roll on the grass, write the letter, take the class, make the call. You’re not doing this just for fun;…

  • Be Childlike, Not Childish

This was a thought-provoking article that was recently published by The Daily Coach… Elizabeth Gilbert — the internationally acclaimed author of Eat, Pray, Love and Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear— offers a paradigm-shifting insight that we, as leaders, coaches, and high performers, would be wise to take to heart. On The Marie Forleo Podcast, Gilbert shares a powerful…
