A Prepared Partner.

I am a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Team Coach and Certified Change Leadership Coach through the prestigious Center for Executive Coaching.

I hold two master’s degrees and multiple certifications covering such topics as organizational leadership, systems theory, conflict resolution and mediation, counseling, communication, project management, personality development, and leader-employee relationships.

An Experienced Leader.

With over 30 years experience on the frontlines of leadership, I’ve been where you are and I know the challenges of leading people and systems. I have a long list of accomplishments and an even longer list of mistakes. Through it all, I have created a track record of serving others with integrity, empathy, and wisdom and gained a reputation for helping leaders and teams maximize their potential.

  • A Summary Definition of the Gospel

The Gospel is the good news that God became man in Jesus Christ.  He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died, in our place.  Three days later He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God and offering the gift of salvation and…

  • Amplify: A Prayer

You are the God who forgives our missteps and misdeeds. You are the God who delivers us from despair. You are the God who heals our broken hearts. You are the God who comforts our wounded souls. You are the God who calls us to be more. You are the God who absolves us of…

  • The Golden Buddha

A few weeks ago I started taking my daughter through the “Habitudes” leadership series by Tim Elmore, which I highly recommend.  Our most recent lesson included the following story: “Just over forty years ago, the Golden Buddha was discovered in the city of Bangkok, Thailand.  For years, a huge, ugly concrete Buddha sat in the…

  • Theater v. Action

This past Wednesday Democrats in the House of Representatives staged a sit-in on the House floor in an effort to bring gun control legislation up to a vote.  One representative summarized the proceedings in one tweet that read, “Time to occupy the House to demand action. #NoBillNoBreak #DisarmHate” No matter what you believe about guns…

  • Hate is Not an Option

One of the strongest currencies of our day is hatred.  It is used by politicians to get votes.  It is exploited by the media to increase ratings.  It is stirred up by civic leaders to retain power and keep constituencies.  It is trafficked by extremists as a tool for bringing their warped vision of how…
