Podcast

Presidential” by The Washington Post is an informative and entertaining podcast that explores the character and legacy of each of the American presidents.  If you like history, you’ll enjoy this podcast.

Blog

John Dobbs is the preacher for the Forsythe Church of Christ in Monroe, LA and maintains a consistently good blog titled “Out Here Hope Remains” that includes links to multiple “awesome bloggers,” as he puts it.

Quote

“When the doubts creep in and the fears debilitate, I remember the cross of Jesus Christ.  I can stand beside the coffin of my wife and doubt God’s love, but I cannot kneel at the foot of the cross and doubt it.  God has offered me an indubitable testimony of his love.  Despite all the contrary witnesses that fill a fallen world, God entered history and demonstrated his love for us in the incarnation, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.”  – Dr. John Mark Hicks, Yet Will I Trust Him

I am a husband, father, and preacher. I have the great privilege of serving a wonderful church family at the Alameda Church of Christ in Norman, OK. I have graduate degrees in ministry and administrative leadership and I also run the occasional marathon. This blog provides a platform to share some thoughts about Scripture, church, ministry, leadership, current events, books I'm reading, and baseball. Thanks for joining me!
