As I’ve mentioned on this blog several times, the congregation I serve has undertaken an ambitious 5-year vision that is designed to focus our efforts on The Great Commission of Jesus and position us to make Jesus known to more people more effectively.
While it’s an exciting endeavor, it is also an exhausting one.
One of the things that keeps me motivated and “fills me up” is music. So, on Fridays I am going to share on this blog some of the songs that are helping me stay focused and energized on the goal that I and my church family are pursuing.
Today’s song is from Matthew West and is called “Do Something.” It speaks to the fact that God has called us to be “the light of the world.” When I listen to this song, I feel so blessed to be part of a church family that is truly seeking to “do something” great in this world for the Lord.
Enjoy…
