Our Father who art in heaven,
We praise your great and glorious name.
We believe that you are the Creator of the universe,
and we believe that you have created every man, woman, and child
for your good pleasure.
We believe that you have made every person to be a person of inherent worth and value.
And so we believe that it is not right for us to withhold your message
of forgiveness, redemption, and salvation from any person.
We believe that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sin.
We believe that Jesus rose from the grave and that he sits at your right hand right now.
We believe that Jesus reigns over the curses of sin and death
and that he has invited us to share in his victory.
We believe that he wants us to share the news of his victory with others
so that all people can be transferred from the kingdom of darkness
into his kingdom of light.
We believe that he has all authority in heaven and on earth
and that through his authority he has sent us into the world to proclaim to the world
the good news that Jesus saves.
So, Lord make us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
We are ambassadors for Christ so, Lord, give us the courage to speak your name.
Give us the strength to persevere in our walk with you.
May others see you in us.
Lord, increase our passion for the gospel of Christ.
Lord, increase our love for the lost.
Lord, increase your reign within our hearts so that we can increase your kingdom.
Just as Jesus stretched out his arms of love upon the hard wood of the cross
that everyone might come within the reach of his saving embrace,
clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those
who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you;
for the honor of your name.
You have sent us to make Jesus known.
Now, may we go into all the world.
To make Jesus known to a lost and hurting world.
Here we are are, Lord, send us!
