A Prepared Partner.

I am a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Team Coach and Certified Change Leadership Coach through the prestigious Center for Executive Coaching.

I hold two master’s degrees and multiple certifications covering such topics as organizational leadership, systems theory, conflict resolution and mediation, counseling, communication, project management, personality development, and leader-employee relationships.

An Experienced Leader.

With over 30 years experience on the frontlines of leadership, I’ve been where you are and I know the challenges of leading people and systems. I have a long list of accomplishments and an even longer list of mistakes. Through it all, I have created a track record of serving others with integrity, empathy, and wisdom and gained a reputation for helping leaders and teams maximize their potential.

  • Goodbye To The Big Guy

Yesterday I got the news that a good friend of mine, whom I affectionately called “The Big Guy,” passed away. David Beegle was the Executive Director of The Resource Center at Impact Church of Christ in Houston. He was also an instrumental figure in Impact’s recovery ministry. But that’s not what David did for a…

  • What Are You Doing For Others?

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and he once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” And, on this day, I can’t help but add to that quote and ask, “What are you doing for others who are different than you?” But the responding question you might…

  • Perspective Under Pressure

A lot of you are feeling like you are under pressure. Maybe you’re facing financial pressures, work pressures, or family pressures. Maybe you’re feeling pressure in your relationships or the pressure to remain healthy in the midst of a pandemic that just won’t go away. Maybe the weight of all that is happening in our…

  • What It Means to Call God “Father”

“And so, dear friends, since we call God our Father, let us remember to act like children of God, so that he may find pleasure in having us as his children, just as we do in having him as our Father.” – Cyprian of Carthage

  • Are You Pursuing Wisdom?

I’m starting the year by slowly reading through Proverbs, taking time to soak in and meditate upon the wisdom that is found there. I appreciate Rich Villodas’ description of the Bible’s collected proverbs: “Proverbs are not universal promises, but life lessons tested over time and tightly summarized to help people navigate wisely through life.” Proverbs…
